Essay sent. Anxiety deluxe.
Now for a weekend in the spirit of scifi. I'll start with listening to the Browncoats Mixtape.

Still awake y'all
Yep, still working on that essay. But I'm getting there. I can see the light at the end of the tunnel now.
So either it's the train of complete sleep deprivation (or self-destruction) or it's actually daylight (or the end of this five week course in Political Theory). Mmm, trains.
And I've got two moose eating off my appletree. True story.

What he said
As from 1PM today I have 24 hours to write an essay for school. Not a long one. Two pages at most. But it's political theories and my brain is about to trickle out my ears. Head implosion is imminent. I've had about five cups of coffee since I started writing.
I heard someone say something about it getting easier after a beer or two but I'm not completely convinced. I suspect where it'll end. This remembering that I'm the one that quoted Mr. Spock in an essay in Belfast. That, too, was done after a full night of coffee.

42 and counting...
I've read 42 books so far this year. Wicked! That means that I'm getting back in shape.
I started the year with Sebastian Horsley's autobiography Dandy in the Underworld (simply astounding - I laughed until I cried) and just recently finished An Introduction to International Relations Theory by Jill Steans (and others)(it was very useful but I didn't laugh as much).
Now on to other titles.

It's sunday (no shit Sherlock)
It’s a weak day. On helluva party last night though. I knew I had fun because my headache tells me so.
And to top all that off I had to be all serious and organized enough to join in on a very important meeting with the rest of the board members in the LGBT youth alliance district I’m in (a district of the Swedish Youth Federation for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender (LGBT) Rights ). It went swimmingly well and we had a lot of fun working on what we're planning on doing next.
It feels a lot better now than it did earlier today but oh brother, someone give me some fizzy-good-make-feel-nice!
10,000
I've just recently passed 10,000 page views (since they started counting them in July 2010). It'a nice and even number. Considering I've only had around 3,000 profile views on my deviantArt in the 3 years I've had it it's also kind of awesome.
Yeah. That's right. I said it. I'm AWESOME.
Captain James Tiberius Kirk of the Starship Enterprise knows what I'm talking about.

Tid, tid, tid...
Ingen bra dag. Förkyld.

Scrubs nostalgia
Dr. Cox is my hero. In so many ways. I even find it funny that he doesn't like Hugh Jackman. I started thinking of Dr. Cox because John C.McGinley's in Point Break and I can't watch Point Break without thinking of Hot Fuzz.
Watch this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M5NuPI7pK2s&feature=youtu.be
How that led to Dr. Cox and Scrubs I don't really know.

The truth
Because reading fills you with knowledge. Knowledge is power. Power is everything. I'd make one heck of a world leader.

Dream hideaway
Now this is beyond perfect - it's all you could ever need. A bed. A bookshelf with plenty of books. A window. A lamp. Maybe a laptop and a mug of coffee. Me wants.

Waste of space
This is where I’m supposed to be studying like a little maniac and prepare my paper on Postcolonial theories of International Relations. Yeah, that’s how much fun I’m having right now. I’m just longing so bad for The Scandinavian Sci-Fi, Film & Game Convention and Halloween. I want the convention because finally I’m getting to see Jenette Goldstein (Vasquez in Aliens, early rolemodel of mine) in real life and Halloween because… it’s Halloween and an excellent excuse for a fancy dress party. My need to act like the self-proclaimed supergeek I am is getting a little bit too obtrusive in everyday (school) life.
It’s absolutely freezing outside. I hate it. It’s hideous.

Procrastinators unite... tomorrow?
I guess The Hutt is temporarily down. Since school started on the 1st I’ve gone right back into my old tracks with too much coffee/tea/sugar and procrastinating the hell out of everything that’s ever been in my life.
Just a short update before I leave again:
I got myself a new rook piercing when I was in London (Camden Town's where it happens!) and since it’s been two weeks of problem-free healing now I figured I could go tell everyone. I’ve tried a rook once before but as my ear turned more and more purple I felt I had to take it out and I’ve also tried helix piercings twice which ended with me having to take the ring out after two nights of heavy bleeding and eat iron supplements both times. My new rook is barely even sore now so I’m keeping my hopes up. Failed piercings seems to be a recurring theme for me.
Not only that but I’ve cut my hair. Back to the double sidecut. We’ll see how long it last this time.
371 of the 1079 movies I “must” see before I die have been seen. Last in line was Das Boot - a perfect example of a movie that doesn't get better because of its immense lenght.
Slow progress.
